Tour description:

Bali’s mix of deep culture and stunning nature is well known – yet much remains undiscovered. On this journey, you’ll experience the Island of the Gods in a new way, traveling to its quiet corners in the west. Visit national parks, remote valleys and meet with the local people. It’s a Tour de Off-the-Beaten-Path Bali, sprinkled with a touch of the familiar when you arrive in bohemian Ubud, that brings together Bali’s finest qualities or art & culture – temples & nature.

See more than Bali - explore Indonesia’s wild wonders in one unforgettable trip.

In Pupuan Sawah, the days are slow and quiet. You’ll cycle through rice fields, meet farmers, and enjoy lush, green views from your eco-resort. In Munduk, Bali’s highland village, misty air and mountain paths lead you to hidden waterfalls, Twin lakes, and spice plantations.

Then it’s on to Sidemen – a quiet and remote valley full of local craft and natural beauty. Here, we walk through rice terraces, visit weaving families, and explore the rhythm of rural life. Add a local village lunch and a fun, scenic rafting tour in the jungle – and you have a Bali few imagine.

From Bali’s gentle rhythms, the journey shifts to the raw beauty of Sumba. A short flight from Denpasar brings you to an island shaped by rugged landscapes, wild horses, and ancient traditions - an untouched side of Indonesia rarely seen by travelers. Sumba is a land of contrasts—where tradition meets wilderness.

Your journey starts in the west, where dramatic cliffs meet the sea and time slows down. Visit Weekuri Lagoon’s saltwater pools, the wave-carved Mandorak Beach, and ancient hilltop villages where megalithic tombs tell centuries-old stories. Further inland, explore Praijing Village, Lapopu Waterfall, and Waekacura's spring-fed rice fields. Sumba's beauty is vast and varied – from green hills and golden plains to quiet beaches where wild horses roam.

In the east, trek to Tanggedu Waterfall - often called Sumba’s mini–Grand Canyon - and witness sunrise over Wairinding Hills. At Rende Village, meet local weavers and see houses built entirely from stone. Every day offers a new glimpse into a proud, traditional way of life that still thrives in rhythm with nature.

As your unforgettable Sumba adventure comes to an end, it’s time to fly back to Bali, where a private driver takes you on a scenic drive up north towards Ubud. Along the way, the landscape shifts from bustling coastal roads to the lush greenery of central Bali. Your final days are spent in Ubud, within walking distance of the best restaurants, cafés, and Ubud's well-known shopping, including art galleries and handicrafts. But only 30 minutes away are the mystical Tegallalang Rice Terraces. No matter what you like to do, Ubud is the perfect retreat to unwind and relax by the pool, enjoy a spa treatment, or explore even more on our optional tours.
