It all began by chance when Swiss couple Anna Maria and Orlando found a small piece of paradise in Amed - a stretch of beach with sparkling black volcanic sand and stunning views of the turquoise sea. Years of dedication followed, as they discovered that building a resort in Bali’s remote east was no easy task. Yet the effort paid off.

In 2011, Palm Garden Amed Beach & Spa opened its doors - an elegant adults-only hideaway where every detail reflects care, quality, and genuine passion. Nestled among lush palm trees and backed by dramatic mountains, the resort features just ten stylish rooms across four categories, all beautifully designed and fully equipped.

Far from the tourist crowds, guests experience the true essence of Bali. Each morning, watch local fishermen bring in their colorful outrigger boats as the day begins quietly by the sea. From both the pool and the restaurant, the views are spectacular - crystal-clear waters stretching to the horizon and, in the distance, the striking cone of Mount Rinjani on Lombok.
