• Day 1 / Arrival in Bali – Welcome to Sanur

  You will be greeted by our English-speaking guide, who will assist with transportation to your hotel in Sanur. The drive takes around half an hour, offering a first glimpse of Bali’s lush landscapes and vibrant surroundings.

  Upon arrival at your hotel, you'll be able to settle in and relax. We aim to hold an individual welcome meeting for our guests within the first 24 hours, providing you with important information and helping you get acquainted with the local area and your upcoming experiences.

  You’ll receive a comprehensive guide with all the practical details you need to explore Bali, including recommendations for guided excursions, local restaurants, and more. If you need assistance during your trip, our  local Balinese team is always available to help. You'll find their contact details in the material provided, ensuring that you have a smooth and enjoyable holiday experience full of adventure.

• Day 2-4 / Sanur - Four Days of Relaxation and Exploration

  You have the next four days to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of Sanur, where you can unwind by the beach or pool and indulge in the exceptional service at your hotel.

  While it's a perfect spot to relax, there’s so much more to explore in and around the area. Sanur’s main street is lined with shops offering a variety of Balinese art, jewelry, and clothes that cater to all tastes and budgets.

  The six-kilometer-long beach is not only perfect for relaxation but is also home to fantastic restaurants and cozy bars. In the evening, the area comes alive with vibrant barbecue grills and the warm glow of colored lamps, creating a lively atmosphere that’s perfect for a sunset stroll.

  If you're seeking adventure, there are plenty of exciting excursions to choose from. A top recommendation is a boat trip to Lembongan Island, where you'll hop on a private speedboat for an unforgettable snorkeling experience. Swim alongside sea turtles and majestic manta rays in crystal-clear waters while taking in breathtaking views of Bali’s coastline. A highlight of the trip is the dramatic sight of Devil’s Tears, where powerful waves crash against rugged cliffs, creating a spectacular display.

• Day 5 / Sanur – Lovina: A Scenic Journey Through Bali’s Highlands

  After breakfast, you will be greeted by your knowledgeable guide for a scenic drive north towards Lovina, passing through the highlands of Bali. This promises to be an eventful day with many highlights, including ancient temples, lush rice fields, charming villages, and spectacular waterfalls.

  The first stop is at the Taman Ayun Temple, one of Bali's most beautiful temples. Dating back 400 years, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for its intricate wood carvings, which are a true testament to the craftsmanship of Bali.

  As you continue the journey, you’ll be taken through winding roads surrounded by lush vegetation, leading to a traditional Balinese home. Here, you’ll be introduced to Balinese culture and in the kitchen, you’ll explore the food culture, learning about the essential spices and herbs that are fundamental to Balinese cuisine.

  The journey continues through picturesque villages, where you’ll have time to stroll and capture the vibrant atmosphere on your camera. One of the highlights is a visit to one of Bali’s main temples, where large ceremonies are often held - if you're lucky, you might witness one during your visit.

  Next, you will visit the Jatiluwih Rice Fields, which are undoubtedly some of the most impressive in Bali. A leisurely walk through the fields, with the majestic Batukaru volcano as a backdrop, will work up your appetite for lunch, where you can enjoy the view and local delicacies. The tour then continues to Lake Beratan, where the Ulun Danu Temple is located on the water. This temple, surrounded by misty mountains, has a serene and mystical atmosphere.

  Your four-night stay in Lovina will be a perfect mix of relaxation and exploration, with the peaceful atmosphere of the area offering a nice contrast to the day’s adventures.

• Day 6-8 / Lovina: A Tranquil Coastal Retreat with Nature's Wonders

  Lovina, with its seven-kilometer stretch of coastline, is a peaceful haven, where small villages dot the landscape, nestled between glistening volcanic sands and the gentle waves of the sea. The area is known for its laid-back atmosphere, ideal for those looking to unwind and embrace the natural beauty of Bali’s north coast.

  One of Lovina's top attractions is dolphin watching. At dawn, the beach comes alive with boats of all sizes and types, eager to take visitors out into the ocean to witness the playful dolphins leaping and dancing around the boats. It’s a magical experience, and even though sightings are never guaranteed, the dolphins are known to be social and often approach the boats for a closer look.

  After your early morning dolphin adventure, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Relax on the beach, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, or engage in a local fishing trip with one of the village fishermen. The laid-back pace of Lovina offers the perfect opportunity for true relaxation.

  If you’re in the mood for a bit of exploration, venture to the nearby village of Sudaji, just a 30-minute drive from Lovina. Sudaji is a hidden green gem, home to one of Bali's most spectacular natural sites - the Sekumpul Waterfalls. Known as Bali's largest waterfall, Sekumpul is a double waterfall, with water cascading down from a height of 80 meters. The view of the three-level Fiji waterfall with its strong water flow is truly amazing and offers a deep experience with nature.

  For the adventurous, there’s an add-on excursion to explore Bali's Largest Waterfall, where the dramatic landscape will remind you of a scene straight from Jurassic Park. The sound of the cascading water, the lush greenery, and the untouched beauty of the area make this must-see.

  As the day winds down, head back to the coast for a beautiful sunset. Bali’s sunsets are famously vibrant, with colors of red and violet painting the sky. The tranquil atmosphere of Lovina at this time is perfect for enjoying refreshment while rounding off a day filled with adventure, relaxation, and the natural splendor of northern Bali.

• Day 9 / Lovina - Amed: A Scenic Journey through Bali’s Highlands and History

  Today, let’s go on another exciting adventure as we leave the tranquility of Lovina and head east to explore the rich history, natural beauty, and cultural heritage of Bali.

  We begin early in the morning, driving south to Singaraja, Bali's former capital. The influence of Dutch colonialism is still evident here, with beautiful old buildings and wide avenues. As we explore the town with our guide, we will visit the local market, where vibrant stalls overflow with fresh produce, spices, and crafts, and take in the sights of the old harbor, offering a glimpse into the town’s maritime history. Along the way, we’ll learn more about the historical significance of Singaraja and how it played a role in shaping the island’s culture.

  Leaving the coast behind, we begin our ascent into the volcanic highlands of Kintamani. As we climb, you will notice the temperature dropping, a welcome relief as we head into the cooler mountain air. Our first stop is at Lake Batur, nestled in the crater of the Batur Volcano. At an altitude of 1,300 meters, the view here is absolutely breathtaking, with the sparkling lake surrounded by rugged volcanic landscapes. It’s a perfect spot to take in the scenery and appreciate the dramatic contrasts of nature.

  Next, we visit Kehen Temple, a 12th-century Hindu temple located in the Bangli district. Known as the "Fire Temple", Kehen is one of the most important temples on the island. As we explore, you’ll be captivated by the intricate sandstone carvings of dragons, gods, and mythical creatures, made even more vivid by the natural patina from centuries of exposure. The temple’s impressive structure and peaceful atmosphere make it a must-see.

  We continue our journey along the rim of the Batur crater, passing the towering Agung volcano (3,142 meters), Bali’s highest peak. Along the way, we stop at various viewpoints, each offering stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape. After soaking in the views, we’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch at a charming restaurant with a panoramic outlook.

  Our final stop before arriving in Amed is the Tirta Gangga Water Palace, a serene oasis famous for its sacred springs and lush gardens. The palace is a labyrinth of fountains, ponds, and statues, with long channels of water running through the grounds, creating a tranquil atmosphere. The surrounding rice terraces, which resemble a series of crooked steps, add to the beauty and charm of this picturesque spot.

  In the late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Amed, where you can unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, ready to continue your adventure on Bali’s east coast.

• Day 10 / Amed: A Tranquil Retreat on Bali's East Coast

  Your days in Amed are entirely at your leisure, allowing you to soak in the serene atmosphere and natural beauty of this coastal gem. Stretching over 10 kilometers, Amed is a peaceful haven with small bays and rustic villages, where the main livelihood revolves around fishing.

  Along the beach, you’ll notice the vibrant outrigger boats that line the shore, ready for a leisurely boat trip. Local fishermen are more than happy to take you out on the water, especially during the magical hours of sunset, when the sky transforms into a palette of oranges and pinks, creating a memorable moment.

  The accommodation in Amed is unique and personal, offering a warm and intimate experience that feels like visiting a relative's home. The small hotels here have a strong local character, adding to the feeling of being embraced by the community. It’s a place where you can relax and unwind, without the hustle and bustle of more tourist-heavy areas.

• Day 11 / Amed to Ubud: A Scenic Journey Through Bali's Rich Heritage

  Today, you’ll embark on a picturesque journey from Amed to Ubud, with several fascinating stops along the way that reveal the island's hidden gems and cultural richness.

  You begin by driving along the coast, where you can gaze down at the colorful outrigger boats pulled up on the shore, painting a serene picture of local life. Unlike the crowded tourist spots of the southern beaches, this remote corner of Bali remains largely untouched, offering a rare glimpse into the traditional life that has remained largely unaffected by modern development. We'll have lunch at a nice restaurant that serves freshly prepared local dishes.

  Your first stop is at one of these villages, where time seems to have stood still for the past few decades. You may have the opportunity to visit a local school if it’s open and meet some of the hospitable families who call this place home. It's a unique chance to connect with the local community and learn about their way of life.

  Next, you’ll visit Tenganan, an ancient and isolated Aga community that fiercely preserves its traditions. Here, you’ll be introduced to the lontar calendar, an intricate system carved from bamboo leaves that guides the local people in their daily lives. The village exudes a unique charm, where ancient practices still thrive.

  Before reaching Ubud, you’ll stop at Klungkung, the former site of Bali’s Supreme Court until the mid-19th century. The beautifully restored pavilion from 1710 stands as a testament to the Balinese commitment to intricate craftsmanship and cultural preservation.

  Your final stop of the day will be at Goa Lawah, also known as the Bat Cave Temple. Legends say the cave is connected to the Beskaih Temple through a hidden tunnel, but whether this is true or not remains a mystery.

• Day 12-14 / Ubud: A 4-Day Dive into Bali's Artistic Soul

  In Ubud, you will have four days to involve yourself in the vibrant culture, rich traditions, and natural beauty of Bali's artistic heart. Nestled among rivers, canyons, and lush rice terraces so vivid they seem to glow with life, Ubud is a haven for creativity and serenity.

  Ubud has drawn artists from across the globe for decades, inspired by its tranquil landscape. The natural surroundings - rivers winding through nature, mist-covered mountains, and fields of rice - provide a backdrop of unparalleled beauty. Whether you’re walking or biking through the central highlands outside Ubud, you’ll experience Bali’s artistic landscape firsthand. It’s a place where each step reveals another stunning view, and the land itself feels like a living piece of art.

  As you explore, you'll find that Ubud is not only a popular tourist spot but also a spiritual center. The area is filled with many small villages, each with its own beautiful temples, many of which welcome visitors.   Over the next four days, you will have plenty of time to explore Ubud’s temples, stroll through its bustling markets, or take part in a traditional Balinese ceremony. You may also visit the nearby Monkey Forests, or discover local arts and crafts, with opportunities to shop for handcrafted jewelry, woodcarvings, and paintings.

  During your stay, you can also venture out on various excursions into the highlands. Choose your adventure from guided bike tours, jungle and waterfall hikes, trekking in rice fields or river rafting. One special highlight is a trekking trip up the Batur volcano, which is an early morning adventure that begins in the darkness of night. You’ll be picked up from your hotel in the early hours, and with our local guide, you’ll make your way to the rim of the volcano crater just in time for a spectacular sunrise and breakfast with a view. • Day 15 / Ubud - Return Trip

  As your unforgettable journey in Bali comes to an end, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Ubud in time to catch your plane. A scenic drive to Denpasar Airport awaits, taking approximately 1 hour. Be sure to arrive at the airport two hours before departure to allow for check-in and any last-minute preparations.

  Reflect on the beautiful memories you’ve created during your stay in Bali as you board your flight going back home. Whether it’s the vibrant culture, serene landscapes, or warm-hearted people, your experience in Bali will stay with you long after your journey ends.
