Cili Travel is a Balinese-Danish owned tour operator and DMC (Destination Management Company) based in Sanur, Bali, with over 13 years of experience creating unforgettable travel experiences across Indonesia.
Founded by industry veterans Ni Made Ayu Triska and Peter Nielsen, our team brings together deep local knowledge and Scandinavian travel expertise to offer tours that are both inspiring and effortless.
We specialize in authentic Bali day trips and tailor-made package tours to iconic destinations such as Komodo, Flores, Lombok and Sumba. Every journey is crafted with care - combining cultural insight, natural beauty, and everyday life to give you an experience beyond sightseeing.

Unlike many operators, we employ our own full-time guides and drivers, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and professionalism. Our guides are well-educated, passionate, and trained to provide fast and effective solutions whenever needed. We also own our vehicles and bikes, giving us full control over logistics and service.

With roots in the Scandinavian travel industry and years of handling thousands of FIT and group travelers, we understand what it takes to deliver a smooth, high-quality experience - from the first enquiry to the last airport transfer.

Who is Cili?
We named our agency Cili Travel to honor Cili Naya, inspired by Dewi Sri - the Balinese goddess of rice, fertility, and prosperity. She symbolises harmony and balance between nature, agriculture, and community, which are core values behind everything we do.
Visualised as a graceful female figure, Cili is still present in Balinese daily life through handcrafted figures made from natural materials and used in ceremonies to invite balance and good fortune.
For us, Cili is more than a name.
It reflects our deep respect for Bali’s culture and our wish to share meaningful, authentic experiences with every guest who travels with us.
