| Tour description: |
On this trip, you'll experience the full diversity of Bali, from its popular beach towns to more hidden gems. You’ll begin in Sanur, were tourism and local life blend seamlessly, allowing you to enjoy the beach while observing the vibrant daily rituals of the Balinese people. After a relaxing stay in Sanur, you’ll head west to explore a quieter side of the island, filled with unique experiences along the way. From postcard-perfect to personal discoveries - this tour shows you both sides of Bali. On your journey, you’ll visit royal apartments that have been home to one of Bali’s many royal families, offering a glimpse into the island’s rich history. Your next stop is Pekutatan, where you’ll check into the Puri Dajuma Beach Eco Resort. This beautiful eco-resort is right by a serene beach, where the sand has been naturally darkened by volcanic ash over time, creating a unique and peaceful atmosphere. In Pekutatan, you’ll experience authentic village life, where you might witness local ceremonies on the beach or at the temple. The Balinese gather to make beautiful offerings to appease the gods, providing a rich cultural experience. Visit the nearby is the turtles’ sanctuaries! Every year, thousands of eggs are collected along the beach. When the turtles hatch, they are kept in rehabilitation until they are strong enough to be released. Help with the release and contribute to securing the population. After a few days soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, you’ll head north to Lovina, with more exciting stops along the way. Along the drive, you’ll visit unique sights, including the sea turtles’ breathing hole, lush rice terraces, cascading waterfalls, and soothing hot springs. Once in Lovina, you’ll check into another beautiful hotel, nestled right on the coast in a small town. Though tourism has reached this area, the pace remains laid-back and relaxed, offering a tranquil escape. One of Lovina's biggest draws is the large pod of dolphins that inhabit the bay. Every morning, the dolphins come to the surface to greet the sun, and you can take a boat out to meet them as they play in the water. Your final stop on this journey is Ubud, Bali's cultural and religious heart. On the way there, you'll visit one of Bali’s most stunning temples, where you can take in breathtaking views of the volcanic landscape. This trip has been designed to give you a blend of both well-known and hidden aspects of Bali, with many unique experiences that we’ve carefully selected based on our years of experience working on the island.
