• Day 1 / Arrival in Bali and on to Ubud

  Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet our guide, who will take you to your hotel in Ubud. The atmosphere here is laid-back, with a wonderful blend of locals and tourists, showcasing Bali’s unique ability to embrace tourism while maintaining its traditional charm.

• Day 2-5 / Five Days in Ubud: Bali's Artistic Heart

  Spend five days in Ubud, a vibrant city that embodies the artistic soul of Bali. Ubud has long been a sanctuary for artists from around the world, inspired by its stunning landscapes and rich culture. Painters, sculptors, and woodcarvers have all found their muse in this beautiful town. However, Ubud’s true masterpiece is the surrounding landscape, best explored on foot or by bike through the scenic central highlands.

  

  
  This area is also the heart of Bali’s traditions, where ceremonies and processions are held with great reverence. Ubud is surrounded by charming villages, each with magnificent temples open to visitors. The hospitality here is unmatched, and the atmosphere is often described as the true soul of Bali.

  

  
  In recent years, Ubud has grown, with the old market now joined by trendy specialty shops offering galleries, jewelry, clothing, and more. Cozy cafes and restaurants have popped up, many featuring outdoor courtyards where you can enjoy fresh juices, coffee, and delicious meals with a view of rice fields.

  

  During your stay in Ubud, you’ll have the chance to join various sections of excursions into the highlands. One of the highlights is an early morning trek up Mount Batur. You’ll be picked up in the middle of the night and guided on a hike up the volcano, reaching the crater rim just in time to witness the breathtaking sunrise. • Day 6 / Ubud to Sanur – River Rafting adventure and village visit

  After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and drive northeast towards Bali's central highlands. The scenic route will take you through stunning landscapes of rushing rivers and lush green rice fields, offering breathtaking views that will impress even the most seasoned travelers.

  

  
  Payungan Village holds a special place for us, as we have been visiting the village for many years and have built close relationships with the villagers, who have lived here for generations.
  
  

  During your visit to Payungan, you’ll experience a glimpse into the life of a farming family, thanks to our employee Kadek, who calls this village home. You’ll see how the locals grow rice, coffee, cocoa, vanilla, fruits, and vegetables in this rural paradise. Enjoy a traditional lunch and a visit to the village temple, offering you a unique insight into the area’s peaceful way of life.

  

  The highlight of your visit, however, is a thrilling rafting adventure down the river through Bali’s lush nature. You’ll begin the day with this exciting yet serene way to experience the landscape. While there are sections of the river that may make your stomach churn, the experience is suitable for children as young as 7-8 years old. Skilled guides will ensure you have fun, and everyone will wear a life jacket and helmet for safety.

  

  
  If rafting isn’t for you, you can opt for a scenic hike through the village and its beautiful surroundings, which lasts about an hour and a half. Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch in the village.

• Day 7-14 / Sanur, beach life, and opportunities for excursions

  Sanur is a charming beach town that offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The peaceful main street is lined with exciting restaurants where you can savor or rediscover Bali’s culinary delights.

  

  Sanur is not just about the beach; it's a vibrant village with temples, schools, shops, and a lively local scene. The six-kilometer-long beach has undergone significant improvements in recent years. New breakwaters now protect the sand, and a beach club keeps the area pristine. As the sun sets, the beach and main street come alive, with grills fired up and fresh seafood and other delicacies being prepared.

  

  Your time in Sanur is likely to include relaxing with a good book, swimming in the sea, and strolling along the water’s edge. But there are also plenty of exciting excursions available. You can take a day trip with the local ferry to the nearby island of Lembongan, where you can hop on a private speedboat to go snorkeling looking for sea turtles and the majestic manta rays.

  Last chance to enjoy the beach town of Sanur - take in the coastal views, do some last-minute shopping, and relax by the pool. When the time comes, you'll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Denpasar Airport, ready to board your flight home, carrying a suitcase full of memories from your wonderful Bali adventure to share with family and friends.
