DAY PROGRAM

• Day 1 / Arrival in Bali, continue to Ubud

  

  Upon arrival at Bali's airport, you will be greeted by our friendly English-speaking guide, who will assist with your transportation to your hotel in Ubud. On your way, you’ll receive a comprehensive guide with all the practical details you need to explore Bali, including recommendations for guided excursions, local restaurants, and more.

  

  If you need assistance during your trip, our local Balinese team is always available to help. You'll find their contact details in the material provided, ensuring that you have a smooth and enjoyable holiday experience full of adventure. Once you arrive at your hotel, you'll have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the afternoon in the beautiful central highlands of Bali.

• Day 2-4 / Ubud

  You will have three full days to enjoy yourself in Ubud, the heart of Bali’s artistic and spiritual life. Your hotel is conveniently located near Monkey Forest Road, a lively hub in Ubud, and just steps away from vibrant rice fields. As you explore the cosy neighborhood, you’ll find plenty of charming cafes, galleries, and shops showcasing local art and crafts.

  

  Ubud is also deeply rooted in tradition, with ceremonial processions taking place regularly, adding to the area’s rich cultural tapestry. The surrounding villages, each with its own beautiful temple, welcome visitors with warmth and hospitality. Take your time to discover these cultural treasures and experience the authentic Balinese lifestyle.

• Day 5 / Ubud - Kubu

  On your way to Kubu, you’ll stop at several fascinating historical and cultural sites. First, visit Klungkung, once home to Bali’s Supreme Court, where legal matters were settled in the Kerta Gosa building until the mid-19th century.

  

  Next, you’ll explore Tenganan, an ancient Aga village that preserves its unique traditions and way of life. We will enjoy a nice lunch before we are continuing.

  

  Your final stop before reaching Kubu is the Taman Ujung Water Palace, built in 1919. This royal palace is beautifully surrounded by a lake filled with blooming water lilies.

  

  After these scenic visits, you’ll arrive in Kubu, located on Bali’s northeastern coast, where you’ll be accommodated directly on the beach, offering a peaceful and scenic retreat.

• Day 6-7 / Kubu

  Kubu and its neighboring towns stretch along a 10 km coastline, dotted with small bays and rustic villages where fishing is the primary livelihood. Along the beach, you'll find the colorful outrigger boats used by local fishermen, and many are happy to take you on a boat trip along the coast, especially during the breathtaking sunset.

  

  The small hotels along the coast have a warm, personal touch, offering an intimate, homely atmosphere, almost like visiting a relative. The area’s beaches are characterized by dark sand, a result of ancient ash from the towering Mount Agung, which majestically overlooks Kubu.

  

  One of the biggest draws of this area is the vibrant underwater life. You can easily rent snorkels and flippers from several places, allowing you to explore the rich marine world just beneath the surface.

• Day 8 / Kubu - Gili Trawangan

  

  You will now sail to the serene Gili Islands, with your destination being the peaceful Gili Trawangan. The moment you arrive, the pace of life slows down, and the island’s tranquility instantly takes over. The journey from the ferry port to your hotel is a calming experience, as you walk or take a ride in a charming two-wheeled horse-drawn carriage.

  

  Along the way, bicycles - the island’s fastest mode of transport - may pass by, but aside from that, the island remains wonderfully car- and motorcycle-free, allowing you to fully engage yourself in the laid-back atmosphere.

• Day 9-11 / Gili Trawangan

  The three islands - Gili Meno, Gili Air, and Gili Trawangan - are often seen as the epitome of tropical paradise. Surrounded by pristine white sandy beaches and washed-up coral, the islands are adorned with swaying palms and shady casuarina trees. In some areas, colorful restaurants with parasols and tables right on the sand add to the picturesque shoreline.

  

  The crystal-clear waters beckon with mesmerizing shades of blue, and beneath the surface, vibrant coral reefs are alive with a spectacular variety of fish in every imaginable color and pattern. In many spots, you can simply swim out from the shore to explore these stunning reefs, but for an even better experience, consider renting a small boat to take you to the best snorkeling spots.

  

  Gili Trawangan, offers a diverse crowd, ranging from luxury backpackers and divers to families with children, as well as a more mature audience seeking something unique and unforgettable.

• Day 12 / Gili Trawangan - Sanur

  
  After breakfast, it’s time to leave the serene Gili Islands and head back to Bali. You’ll sail back on the new fast ferry, and upon your arrival, a driver will be waiting to take you to Sanur.

  

  
  This will be your home for the final three days of your holiday, where you can unwind and enjoy the laid-back charm of Bali’s coast before returning home.

• Day 13-15 / Sanur

  Under the shade of the palm trees, the sun loungers are waiting for you, perfect for soaking up the sun or simply relaxing by the sea. For those who prefer a little activity, you can take a leisurely 6 km bike ride along the beach or stroll a few hundred meters to the main street, where you’ll find a variety of eateries and charming shops.

  

  The local cuisine is a highlight, with fresh fish and shellfish often featured, but Bali offers a wide range of culinary delights thanks to its diverse raw materials and the creativity of its chefs. Whether you’re sampling a new dish or revisiting a favorite, there’s always something new to try.
