Senior Travel Designer – Indonesia

JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Senior Travel Designer, you will create and manage tailor-made journeys for our international clients, from the first enquiry to the final itinerary and booking.

You will listen to what the client is looking for, advise them based on your knowledge and experience, and turn their ideas into well-designed journeys that work both for the traveller and operationally.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing tailor-made itineraries and round trips throughout Indonesia

• Advising international clients on destinations, hotels and experiences

• Preparing proposals and quotations, and managing bookings from enquiry through to operation

• Working closely with hotels, guides, transport providers and local partners

• Ensuring itineraries are well planned and finding solutions when plans change

• Developing new itineraries and experiences together with our team

You will have a high degree of independence and responsibility, with the freedom to use your experience, make decisions and contribute your own ideas.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an Indonesian citizen with solid experience in the travel industry who understands tailor-made travel and enjoys working with international clients.

Ideally, you have:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Travel Consultant, Travel Designer, Product Specialist or similar

• Strong knowledge of Bali and Indonesia as travel destinations

• Experience designing tailor-made itineraries for international travellers

• Very good spoken and written English

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• A calm and practical approach when plans change

• Experience with, or an interest in, using AI tools to work smarter and improve efficiency

• A positive and open-minded approach, with a strong team spirit and willingness to support your colleagues
  
  

Most importantly, you understand that a great journey is about more than adding attractions to an itinerary. You know how to understand the traveller, create the right flow and take care of the details that make a journey work.

Since 2012, we have been creating authentic day trips, tailor-made holidays and round trips throughout Bali and Indonesia for travellers from around the world.
